Job Description is hiring a Sales Director in our Morris Plains, NJ location. The Sales Director will partner with Office Managers, Affiliate Owners, Sales Associates and Sales & Conversion Representatives to achieve the highest possible conversion of company generated sales leads.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Manages a team of 5-10 Sales & Conversion team members with the responsibility to coach, develop, measure performance and address issues. Team functions include but are not limited to the following:
    • Promoting in many forums using all media channels available and presenting our value proposition and techniques to both small and large groups.  This will require travel
    • Driving the conversion of internet generated leads for Weichert Owned Offices, Affiliates and Rentals
    • Selecting agents to receive internet generated leads
    • Analyzing lead distribution and business metrics to ascertain offices and sales associates who need improvement
    •  Assisting in supporting Office Managers and Affiliate owners and guiding them to achieve a higher level of WLN conversion
    • Managing and conduct webinars for call sessions that reengage inactive leads           
    •  Coaching Associates on proper sales techniques           
    • Preparing all arrangements for office tours of the facility, including but not limited to customizing presentations, coordinating agenda with internal stakeholders and conducting the tour
    •  Managing exemption requests, support needs and inquiries from Office Management, Associates and Affiliates
    • Recruiting Associates to Weichert 
  • Compiles monthly, quarterly and annual statistics by office and associate for publication companywide
  • Works  collaboratively with Regional Vice Presidents, Office Managers, Associates and management to develop and produce the following content:
    • Value Proposition and promotional materials
    • Sales Meeting templates and companywide communications
    • Training for Regional Vice Presidents, Office Managers, Associates and Affiliates
    • Ongoing communications to promote, reinforce the value proposition and close leads
    • Conducts presentations  and writes speeches as needed
  • Contributes to the strategy 
  • Determines staffing needs through data analysis 
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

·         Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Corporate Communications or Public Relations preferred

·         Valid driver's license

·         Real Estate license preferred

·         Real estate sales and/or sales management experience required

·         Management experience required

·         Experience in Weichert sales or sales management preferred

·         Knowledge of real estate business and the conversion of internet leads

·        Fluency in foreign languages highly desired
·         Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·         Superior customer service skills

·         Strong people management skills

·         Ability to maintain confidential information

·         Capable of working and communicating effectively with professionals at all levels

·         Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment and handle multiple projects / tasks with an attention to detail

·         Ability to successfully multi-task while working independently or within a group environment

·         Superior analytical and diagnostic skills and the ability to apply analysis in determining appropriate next steps

·         Excellent computer skills and the aptitude to learn new software applications

·         Possesses superior personnel development and delegation skills, including training / facilitation

·         Capable of effectively preparing and delivering presentations
